Introducing the BMW XM

The 2023 model year unleashes a whole new level of power and luxury in one of the best SUVs on the market: the first electrified M model, the new 2023 BMW XM. Coming in hot with the improved efficiency of M Hybrid Power, the BMW XM hosts a 4.4 liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo V-8 engine paired with a high performance electric motor. The XM boasts 590 lb-ft of torque, maximum horsepower stacks up at 644, the speed can rocket from 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds. Running on fully electric power, this luxury SUV has a range of around 30 miles. This is definitely the most powerful SUV produced by BMW’s M series.

Interior Review 

Looking at the interior, the new BMW display is the digital gauge display and infotainment system all in one, covering almost three quarters of the dashboard. The sleek touchscreen is equipped with the latest iDrive 8 Operating System with an M-specific design, You can also connect to your favorite apps while you’re on the road with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

When it comes to sound systems, the BMW XM doesn’t skimp on quality. Your soundtrack can come bursting to life in vibrant waves with the available Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround System. Twenty speakers push out an incredible 1,475 watts of power, allowing you to be fully submerged in sound.

In terms of technology, there is also the amazingly convenient My BMW app that can help keep you updated with everything you need to know about your vehicle’s status from your compatible smartphone. You can check your charge and fuel levels, your available range, and more. If you’re part of the club of drivers that has a hard time remembering where they parked or finding your vehicle in a crowded parking lot, the Me BMW app can even help you find your vehicle in just moments.

With your selection of seven different bold colors (including a beautiful Cape York green), four different wheels, and four different interior colors, you might not even need to rely on your app to find your car --- you can choose the colors that speak most to you for a flash that’s hard to miss!

The standard Active Driving Assistant Professional system also adds smart features like Frontal Collision Warning, Active Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Speed Limit Info. All of this to help you navigate roads and chart your course with safety at the forefront of your experience. The Parking Assistant Plus system makes things easier when it comes to parking, using sophisticated sensors to easily slip your vehicle into or out of any tricky parking situation.

Special Edition XM Label Red 

A special edition, the BMW XM Label Red, will be available for a limited time. The special model will feature 735 lb-ft of torque, unique paint, wheel, upholstery, and trim selections, and more. Production is expected to begin in the late Summer of 2023, and order details will be made available at a later date.
